# What is FES Partner Portal

The Partner Portal is an application created by FutureEd Solutions to help you with the enrollment process and many more things as we release additional features. We started with a few simple goals in mind.

* Reduce your effort
* Improved accuracy and speed
* Provide greater visability
* Guide best practices

While the goals are simple, we all know the enrollment process can be complex and the needs of every student are different.

The Portal will be your single place to make all additions, changes, and removal of student registration and course enrollment with FES. This information will also be used to drive billing back to your district.

{% hint style="danger" %}
FES Partner Portal will be used to drive billing to your district. It's critical that you enter requests in a timely fashion to avoid being overcharged.

# Quick Start

For those needing a refresher on the steps for registration & enrollment.

## Registration & Enrollment

The FES Partner Portal is the one place for all requests related to registration and enrollment. The first step is to register the student via the Portal. Once a student has been registered you can move on to course enrollment.

{% hint style="warning" %}

{% endhint %}

### Step 1 - Student Registration

Registration is simply providing basic student information needed to get a student started with FES online courses. Students can be registered in one of two simple ways.

1. Simple registration using form based entry via Portal screens - [Learn More](/portal-how-tos/untitled)
2. Bulk registration using a file upload for large list - [Learn More](/portal-how-tos/untitled/bulk-registration)

{% hint style="info" %}
Required Student Registration Information - First name, last name, email, grade level, and is the student on an IEP/504?

# School Dashboard

Overview of Active students, Inactive students, Pending Request, and a key metrics section.

The School Dashboard is the hub for your enrollment information and request. Most requests can start from here, while also providing you with a consolidated view of key information. In the following sections, we'll walk through what information the Dashboard provides and what actions you can initiate.

![School Dashboard](/files/-MfouTrQEz4EjfeClai9)

The Dashboard is broken down into five sections:

* [Page Header](https://fpphelp.fesnow.org/school-dashboard/getting-to-know-your-dashboard/page-header)

# Page Header

The Page Header is consistent across all parts of the FES Partner Portal. As the name implies, it's the section across the top of the page. It's used to provide consistent navigation options, school branding options, and easy access to the help documentation.

![Page Header](/files/-MfoxxZlF9QUOWBvaPqv)

Let's break down the Page Header to better understand its parts. Starting with the left side of the Page Header, you see the three blue lines, also known as the "hamburger menu" which is the main menu for the Portal.

![Page Header - Left Side](/files/-Mfoy096pXgudiy4X685)

To the right of the menu icon is a place for school branding. During your schools' setup, our administrators will link your school logo and school name to your account. In this example you see the FutureEd Solutions logo and
